ABOUT Easy DropMenus
Easy DropMenus uses two scripts, a builder script and a data script. The builder script reads data from the data script and processes it into a dropdown menu which the browser renders. The data script is yours. The builder script is the authors. All your data, menu headings, menu links, CSS styles such as font size, font name, font color, background color, menu width, colorbars, etc. go into the data script. When you have prepared your data script with your customizations, you match it up with the builder script by inserting it into the head section of an HTML document immediately preceeding the builder script. The browser then renders the two scripts into the finished product. You now have a menu which you can show on very page of your website. To add or delete links, or to make any update or change, for example change the CSS font name or color style, simply update the data script and save it. The updated data simply filters through to every page on your website that holds the scripts. Easy DropMenus gives you full control over all features in the data file. You can even enhance the javascript itself. You can make any number of copies of the scripts, and redistribute them any number of times.
