Introduction Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council mobile application offers bouquet of unique features for UAE registered job seekers and high education students within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. In addition, the application offers basic functions to Abu Dhabi’s based Government, semi-Government and private employers registered in Tawteen Council as well as basic functions to counselors and students at higher education institutions in Abu Dhabi. The basic features provided to jobseekers, employers, counselors and students have been derived from full privileged package available at Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council online gate www.tawteencouncil.ae which provides full employment services to users. How does Tawteen Council application work? In order to maintain consistency between Tawteen online gate and this application, all registered job seekers should use their Tawteen number as username and UAE ID linked password provided by Tawteen system (via SMS). Same consistency is applied for higher education students who should use their university/college number as a username and password provided by Tawteen system (via SMS). SMS verification is one time practice in which both jobseekers and students can use their usernames and passwords for future use. On the other hand, employers and Counselors should use their usernames that match their registration numbers at Tawteen Council while passwords are personal. All interactions, activities and applications applied between employers and jobseekers through this application are saved and documented in Tawteen system where users can review, follow and track these interactions. As this mobile application provides basic services, all users can complete or do other functions through online gate to proceed with employment process.
