It is the device management client required by SAP Afaria and SAP Mobile Secure solutions. What's new. When you upload an APK, it needs to meet Google Play’s target API level requirements. Starting November 2, 2020, Google Play requires that new apps target at least Android 10.0(API level 29). The client has been modified to meet these new requirements. - Support for Android 10(API level 29). - Support for in-house root CA certificates. - MDM Support for LG Devices. - Enrollment bug fixes. Miscellaneous UI Changes Due to a change in the permission model implemented on the new target API level there are several new permission prompts that the end user must accept in order to enroll the device for management. The new prompts are displayed below. Afaria enables enterprise IT organizations to centrally manage, secure and deploy Android devices for enterprise use. Please consult with your company’s IT organization before installing this app. The Mobile Secure app is a component of an overall Afaria implementation, and requires communications with a back-end Afaria server in order to operate properly. The Mobile Secure app provides a portal that will allow IT departments to distribute and update apps over the air to their users. Users can select from a list of authorized apps. This is compatible with Afaria server versions 7.0 SP26 and greater.
