Earlon Bartley (also Earlan, born 19 December 1993) better known as Alkaline, is a Jamaican dancehall recording artist. Some of his popular songs include "ATM", "Champion Boy", "Ride On Me", and "Conquer the World". He was given the name Alkaline by one of his friend. The name was derived from an alkaline battery that has a positive and negative sides to it. His sister saw that he had a dual personality that included a positive side and a negative side. Earlan Bartley started his dancehall career in his tender teenaged years. He attended Ardenne High School in Kingston, where he pursued his career with his 3 songwriters Matthew Leavers, Enus Samuels, and lastly Francis Valentino. Music videos such as 'Just Wah Do Music', 'Mi Love Woman' and 'Reflections' were performed his school clothes. He finally got a break through in dancehall in 2013 with hit songs such '123', 'Things Mi Love' & Move Mountains.
