We’re excited to bring you a new option in moviegoing that allows you to book an entire auditorium for up to 20 guests and watch a movie of your choice. Perfect for holidays, date night, birthdays, etc., a private watch party lets you feel comfortable at the movies by maintaining your social bubble. Check out our recently released app shortcuts that give you instant access to movies, theaters, orders and news from your home screen. Now you’ll see titles and ratings beneath the posters on our home screen so you can find the movie you want even faster. Also, you can now add a movie to your Watch List right from the home screen by tapping the icon at the top right of the poster so we can tell you when tickets are available. As theaters continue to reopen, our seat maps will update to reflect any social distancing policies that may be in place like reduced capacity and buffer seats. As theaters begin to open up, we're continuing to update seat maps in reserved seating auditoriums. These updates let you see any social distancing policies that may be in place like reduced capacity and buffer seats. Also, we've rolled out a sweet concessions discount QR code for the Megaplex Theatres MegaPass program so members can now scan to save on snacks in person by simply opening up our app. Of course, we also fixed some bugs and made other minor improvements throughout. Hello movie fans! Theaters are starting to open up in select states (woohoo!) and we've made some handy updates to help you feel safe and comfortable when you head back to the movies. For theaters who have new social distancing policies in reserved seating auditoriums, you'll see updated seat maps that reflect reduced inventory and/or spaced seating choices.
