Backup Magic is a simple, fast and compact backup/file copy utility for power users and system administrators (it is not designed for people who have limited knowledge about computer file system). It is not meant for full system backup and does not have loads of options, but it includes all of the tools required to get your daily backup jobs done fast and easy. Backup Magic copies new or modified files (you can specify include/exclude masks) from selected folders to another location that can be another folder, network drive, zip disk or whatever writeable device you see in Windows Explorer. Even making a backup to a CD-R(W) or DVD-R(W) disk is not a problem if you have packet-writing software like Adaptec DirectCD running. You can make multiple groups and specify several file filtering options, request log file generation, use incremental or mirror copy mode and much more. Additionally, you can use variables in destination folder names, so you can automatically generate folder names with current date/time/day (like Backup of Monday AM) - useful for keeping version history by date. Backup Magic contains a unique, separate, lightweight 32-bit console-mode executable that can be used on Windows NT/2000/XP Server to make automated, scheduled (using AT or Scheduled Tasks) backups in the background. That allows you to copy/backup data from workstations to a server automatically, so you save employees from making backup themselves.

Simple License Agreement for BACKUP MAGIC This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and Moon Software for the software product identified above ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT"). By installing or using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. 1. VERSIONS OF THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT. There are two versions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT ("TRIAL VERSION" and "FULL VERSION"). * The TRIAL VERSION is provided free of charge for evaluation. It will stop working after 30 days of use. It is provided for demonstration purposes. * The FULL VERSION has no time limitations, but requires payment of license fee. After paying the license fee you will receive personal key code ("KEY CODE") that will change mode of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT from TRIAL VERSION to FULL VERSION. 2. YOU MAY.
