bitOS is a small shell-like Operating System. It's open source thus anyone can contribute and make it the next Linux replacement :). To compile the bitOS kernel, you should use DJGPP, and nasm. You can get nasm from nasm.sourceforge.net The first release of bitOS was on April Fools, but it's only a coincidence.
