Not all pokemon are created equal. In the pokemon games, IVs determine the maximum possible stats for that particular pokemon. To determine the final stats of a pokemon, you need to know their base stats (determined by species), effort values (determined by what pokemon yours has fought) and IVs (which are different for each pokemon). This app can help you determine what the IVs of your pokemon are. If you don't understand the description or what I'm talking about, this app is probably not for you. In order to get accurate results, you need to enter the stats of your pokemon before you ever battle with them. There is no place to enter EVs. Feel free to enter the pokemon species name in the Pokedex # box. CalcIVm will look up the pokedex number for you when you push the Calculate button. Technical Details: This is an open source IV Calculator for Pokmon generations III through V. It is licensed under the GNU GPLv2.
