CDViewer.exe is a small program created to display digital images that have been written onto a CD in a number of the most commonly used image formats (.jpg, .jpeg .bmp or .gif). No installation is required onto your computer. Just add the CDViewer program and an autorun.inf file to the CD when writing the images to the disc. You now have a backup of your digital images that will also play as a slideshow. When displaying the images, they are re-sized to fill the screen as much as possible. Once the slideshow has started, you have control over a number of features of how the images displayed. You can pause and resume the display. You can increase or decrease the delay between displaying different images. You can manually control the slideshow, going forward or backwards through the images. You can jump to the first or last image in the display. You can display a screen small copies images. There are three slideshow configurations that you can alter if required. The delay between each image. The default delay is 3 seconds. The folders of images to be displayed. If there is more than one folder containing images on the CD, selection of those folders to be displayed when the program starts running can be requested. The default option is to display all the folders without asking. Text Display. Descriptions of the images can be saved in a text file and this information can be displayed with the image. The default option is to display the text if it exists.
