Cuisine Calculator calculates nutrients and cost on an ongoing daily basis. In addition to individual entries, foods can be grouped and the group totals can be used as the source of the cost and nutrition data in other tables. Among the groups are Meals, Main Courses, Sides, Appetizers and Desserts. Recipes is a special group with number of servings and and a recipe formatted printout. The nutrition facts information is displayed after the FDA Nutrition Label guidelines familiar to most Americans. Preferences include nutrient data visibility, nutrient display format, data status colors and units. Supplement the USDA database with nutrient data entered from food packaging or with the aid of an import function for internet pages.
