Decrap allows you to easily and safely remove all of the bloatware that comes pre-installed by the manufacturer on a new Windows PC. It can take hours or even days to get all the pre-installed software removed from your new computer, but with this little freeware utility you can completely uninstall all the unneeded software without any user input! Pre-installed bloatware like this is often deeply integrated into the Windows operating system. Trying to remove it by simply deleting the installation folders not only means you may not get rid of it all, but can also result in other important programs not functioning properly. RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF USE You are NOT allowed to: 1. Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to reconstruct or discover the source code, or any parts of it, or discover or reconstruct any mechanism, algorithm or a protocol from the binaries of Decrap my Computer. 2. Reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to reconstruct or discover the source code, or any parts of it, or discover or reconstruct any mechanism, algorithm or a protocol from the Decrap my Computer by running any kind of special monitoring software, such as registry monitoring software, or analysing software, such as "SoftICE" or other such tool. 3. Use a program, source code, mechanism, method, protocol or algorithm to bypass or to break Decrap my Computer' security features, license validation, license creation routines, methods or algorithms, or any parts of them. 4. Create derivative works based on Decrap my Computer (e.g. incorporate Decrap my Computer in a commercial product or service without a proper license), except that you may create translations of the program and its help files. 5. Rent, lease, sublicense, convey, distribute or otherwise transfer rights to Decrap my Computer without a written permission from Macecraft Software. 6. Remove any product identification, copyright, proprietary notices or labels from Decrap my Computer. 7. Rent or lease Decrap my Computer, any portions of it or its license, or any portions of a license without written permission from Macecraft Software. 8. In no event will the Author or his licensors be liable for the costs of procurement of substitute Software or services. in addition, in no event will the total liability of the Author in connection with this agreement or Decrap my Computer exceed the actual amount paid to the author, if any, for Decrap my Computer giving rise to the claim. You acknowledge that Decrap my Computer is not designed or licensed for use in on-line equipment in hazardous environments such as operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or control, or life-critical applications.
