ABOUT AlaTimer

AlaTimer allows each child (Windows user) a pre-configured maximum time, per day, for example 120 minutes. Sixty (60) seconds prior to this period expiring a message will pop-up, asking the user to logoff. AlaTimer could be configured to either logoff, shutdown or restart the computer, at the end of this period. Every time the mouse hovers over Freds icon, Fred will pop up a short message telling how long your child has spent on the computer and how much longer your child may use the computer for the day. No more telling, nagging or trying to educate your child to spend less time on the home computer. No more siblings arguments: its my turn now, you have been on it for so long..., etc. Just relax and let Fred take control. AlaFredy.exe configures AlaTimer.exe Using AlaFredy a computer administrator is able to read, display and/or modify all AlaTimer settings, over a (home) network, from any of the computers that are connected to the network. This means that you may have AlaTimer installed on multiple computers and AlaFredy is capable of controlling them all from a remote location (as long as you are connected to the network and have administrator's rights. Each time you make a modification using AlaFredy you are required to enter a password. The default password is: "password". You may change the password as often as needed, but please ensure you remember it. If during the day you have decided that a user requires more or less computer time, simply run AlaFredy, on your own computer and modify the time that you would allow that user. Evaluate this software absolutely free, for 14 days. Registration is per machine and there is no limit to the number of children (users).
