Use the C# SIP softphone source of Ozeki VoIP .Net SDK for SIP SMS system development to forward SIP messages as SMS text messages to mobile devices. The main goal of Ozeki SIP SMS sample program is to present the efficient solution for sending SIP messages via SMS with the help of Ozeki VoIP SIP SDK. The softphone of Ozeki SIP SMS sample also allows to make/receive calls send/receive DTMF signals beside sending critical SIP messages via SMS. For SMS sending, a stable SMS gateway, such as Ozeki NG SMS Gateway software, is needed. This sample offers complex call handling and SMS sending options. It is easy to use. Download, extract and load it into Visual Studio 2010. Some configuration is required: replace the IP address of your PC and the user data of the selected PBX to make phone calls. To be demonstrative the GUI of this sample program is simple but customizable. The softphone can handle the main telephony features like call initiation, receiving calls, sending and receiving DTMF signals, event display. The GUI has an additional section for sending SMS. Here the SMS server related configurations can be entered: its IP address, User name, Password. In SIP text field the SIP message can be specified that triggers the SMS sending. There is a recipient field (recipient phone number) and an SMS text field for the message body. The softphone is initialized and registered to the PBX with the given SIP account after loading the GUI. A softphone instance is created via the softPhone object and you can enter the IP address of your PC, the port domain to be used by the phone and the port at which the SIP messages will be listened. SIP messages are monitored. If there is a match for the searched SIP text section, an SMS will be sent via the SMS server. An HTTP request is sent to the HTTP API of the SMS gateway software that will send out the SMS message to the recipient mobile device.
