All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Chaiorman SS Mantha insisted to all b-schools accepting previous CMAT scores for the next academic session were expected to consider the May 2013 CMAT scores as well. CMAT is the official entrance exam for admission into MBA management programmes in 12 states including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Nagaland, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Haryana and Karnataka. The state governments officially announced CMAT is their official test. In addition, many b-schools offering PGDM programmes will also be using CMAT scores.
