Even after Cookies, Temporary Internet Files and History folders are cleared a hidden record of all your browsing activity is stored in the index.dat files. These files can be easily viewed by any unauthorized user of your computer. More alarming is the ability of a remote computer to open the index.dat files under Temporary Internet FilesContent.IE5 and sniff out the names of the cache folders.
