ABOUT EgoSecure Encryption Anywhere

EgoSecure Encryption Anywhere is a file manager with data encryption capabilities and support of multiple cloud storages. The application provides all necessary operations to efficiently process files and folders. Any files can be encrypted in order to protect them from unauthorized access when they are stored on device, in cloud storage etc. (data at rest) or transferred via open communication channels like the Internet (data in motion). Key features: 1. Managing local data stored on device and data stored in cloud storages (Dropbox, Google Drive, Box Sync, Mediencenter, Yandex.Disk) 2. All necessary file and folder operations: download, upload, rename, delete file and folder, create folder etc. 3. Opening files directly in the application. Support of all widely used file formats: PDF, DOC, XLS, JPG, TXT etc. 4. Single and multiple files and folders operations. Processing all files in selected folders, i.e. not only the contained files, but also the files in all direct and indirect subfolders. 5. Encrypting and decrypting files. Encryption key generation is based on the password entered by user. Support of various encryption key lengths (1024, 2048, and 4096 bits). Encryption strength (encryption key length) is defined by user. 6. Performing long-running operations in background mode. User can continue to work with the application while operation execution. 7. Parallel execution of multiple long-running operations. User can cancel operation without a threat to damage data participating in the operation. 8. Special markers to identify files and folders' status. User can immediately recognize files and folders being processed, as well as encrypted files which can or cannot be decrypted right now. 9. Two panel tablet layout for better visual presentation of data and better storage file system navigation. Hierarchical representation of folders on the left panel. Contents synchronization upon navigation in both panels. 10. Full compatibility with other EgoSecure products which support mobile encryption. For example, files encrypted by EgoSecure Agent on a PC can be decrypted by the application on iPhone/iPad and vice versa, files encrypted by the application on iPhone/iPad can be decrypted by EgoSecure Agent on a PC.
