ABOUT Hearts - Multiplayer Card Game

Hearts is a popular card game. You can play hearts with other players. You can also create private table, and invite facebook friends to play with you.Hearts is a four players game and is played with a 52-cards deck without jokers. The object of Hearts is to have the lowest points (penalty points) at the end of the game. Queen of spades (Q) is worth 13 penalty points and each card of hearts is worth 1 penalty point. Thus there are a total of 26 penalty points. All the other cards do not have any point value. The game normally ends when a player gets 100 or more points.Playing HeartsIn the 4-players game, each player gets 13 cards. Each player must choose three cards to pass to an opponent except for every fourth hand when no cards are passed. To select a card to pass, click it. To cancel the selection of a card, click it again. Click three cards and click Pass.The player who has the two of clubs (2) begins the first trick and puts the card on the table. Then each player in turn plays a card of the same suit. The player who plays the highest card of the same suit gets all the four cards of this trick and plays the first card of the next trick. If a player does not have a card of the same suit, he/she can play any card (except that you can not play the Queen of spades or a card of Hearts in the trick where the 2 is played).For any suit the card ranks (lowest to highest) are 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K and A.The game hand continues till 13 tricks are played and all the players have played their 13 cards. Now the scores of this hand are counted. The hands continue till one player has 100 or more points.Shooting the MoonIf after a hand you get Queen of spades and all the 13 cards of heart, this is called Shooting the Moon. You do not get any point while all the other players get 26 points.Strategies.1. To be the winner you should keep track of all the cards that have been played that is how many and which cards of a suit have been played.2. When you have to pass three cards to an opponent, pass cards with high values. You can also pass cards of a particular suit to make you void or short of the suit thus if an opponent plays card of that suit, you can get rid of your dangerous card.3. Keep track of Q – if it has been played or not.4. Play high rank card when it is safe to play.
