ABOUT ManageEngine OpStor

OpStor is a multi-vendor storage monitoring software offering unified Inventory, Fault and Performance Management for Storage Arrays, Fabric Switches, Tape Libraries, HBAs, VMware and Host servers through a web browser. Major Devices supported are: EMC Clariion, EMC Symmetrix, HP EVA, HP MSL/ESL, Hitachi Thunder/Lightning, VMware ESX/ESXi, StorageTek, IBM FastT/DS Series, LSI, Infortrend, Brocade, Cisco, DELL, ADIC, QLogic, Emulex. OpStor monitor SAN devices using industry standard interfaces like SMI-S, CLI, SNMP, etc. Devices are queried for inventory information along with its sub components such as Fabric Ports, Disks, Volumes, Drives, etc. Hierarchical Device maps are constructed automatically showing the interconnections between the devices with its color-coded status. OpStor periodically polls storage devices to determine its health status and generates alarms on status changes. Fabric Switch and Port Status, Storage Array and Processor Status, Disk/Volume Status, Library and Drive Status are monitored closely. In addition, asynchronous notifications from the devices are received and mapped to respective monitored entities for alarm status indication. Critical conditions are escalated through email/SMS to storage administrators. OpStor collects performance data on well-defined KPIs for storage devices & interconnects and depicts them as graphs for visual tracking. OpStor generates reports on device utilization, availability, Disk/Volume Utilization Trends, etc. Top-N reports are provided for comparing relative performance of devices. OpStor easily integrates device's element managers by launching them from OpStor client. Also device telnet is tunneled from OpStor client securely. Also, it can integrate with other NMS systems. OpStor is easy to install & use with a rich web-based UI. OpStor is designed with focus on storage administrators' day-to-day monitoring needs.
