Altough mostly all devices and ROMs support rebooting to recovery, it can be that your devies or ROM doesn't. The type of the recovery (stock/CWM/TWRP) also affects the functionality.Delaying before reboot is for letting the system close the running processes.'Delay reboot' and 'Use busybox' functions require busybox with 'reboot' applet, installed in system/bin or system/xbin folder.The app automatically recognises Samsung devices and switches to Download mode, otherwise Fastboot mode is active.
