ABOUT Safer Work
Safer Work activates computer protection through whitelisting. Safer Work enables Windows software restriction policies. These restrictions prevent the execution of all programs that are not on a whitelist. This allows the PC hardware to be used primarily for its original task: to execute desired software. Therefore, Safer Work is ideal for all Windows computers that are used, in companies, in schools and of course at home on the private computer. The software is free for private use, businesses and schools require a paid license. The unlicensed software activates the computer protection for all users. With the full version, you can also protect individual user profiles. In addition, restrictions may be activated for individual users, e.g. disable the system controls. Since Windows XP (2001), Windows has included software whitelisting functionality called Shared Computer Kit (Steady State). With Windows 7 (2008), this software whitelisting functionality from Microsoft was complemented by Applocker with another software whitelisting solution. However, unlike software restrictions, Applocker is only available on certain Windows editions, e.g. Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education usable. Safer Work enables computer protection through changes in the registry database. Therefore, Safer Work can enable computer protection in all Windows Editions as of Windows XP, even on server operating systems. Safer Work offers the right user interface to customize whitelisting computer protection to your personal requirements.
