Mumtaz Mufti was a close friend of Ashfaq Ahmad and Qudratullah Shahab. Mumtaz Mufti influenced by the communism in the earlier life. He has liberal views about life and its realities. After the pilgrimage travel with Qudratullah Shahab, Mumtaz seems a changed person. On the return from Haramain, he wrote his famous book Labbaik. In this book, he described the strange things which he saw along with Qudratullah Shahab. Labbaik was a real masterpiece by Mumtaz Mufti. He presented everything in a natural style. Mumtaz believed in truth and reality which is manifestly see in his all books.
