ABOUT Thermal Comfort PMV Calculator

The application calculate the Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) and Predicted Percentage Dissatisfied according to Fanger's Model. Results are calculated from the inputs of air temperature, mean radiant temperature, relative humidity, air velocity, clothing thermal resistance and metabolic rate. Built in calculators are included to assist in determining clothing thermal resistance and metabolic rate. Optimization routines are provided for determining required air temperature or mean radiant temperature for good thermal comfort.
