The translation project started in 1985 and was initiated by the Société Biblique Française (French Bible Society). It was handed over to United Bible Society in 1992. The project was completed in 1997 and published in 1998 as “Today’s Khmer Version”. Copyright © 1998 United Bible Societies. It was an inter-confessional version.
