ABOUT OGRE (O-O Graphics Rendering Engine)

OGRE is a flexible 3D engine written in C++ and it is intended to make things easier and more hands-on for developers to produce applications using hardware-accelerated 3D graphics. The class library features an intuitive interface and covers all the details on using system libraries like Direct3D and OpenGL. The Ogre source is made available under the GNU LGPL, which means anyone can use it as long as changes made to the core engine are released if the product is distributed.
