ecaf is face backwards and is a play on the JSF (java server faces) spec. ecaf is a framework for developing web pages using JSP (JavaServer Pages is a technology that helps software developers create dynamically generated web pages based on HTML) or JSF. It uses ideas from Tapestry, Cocoon and XMLC. The project is open source thus anyone can contribute to it.
