Exchange database corruption is the common issue that keeps terrifying its users time and again. For recovering the inaccessible files, Microsoft provides two command utilities- Eseutil.exe and isinteg.exe. However, if an EDB file displays a page number mismatch error then the user must run eseutil utility followed by isinteg utility. As soon as the Eseutil recovers exchange database, the next step that should be taken is to mount the repaired file on Exchange server with the help of Exchange management console. Moving ahead, the user must run isinteg command on repaired file which requires dismounting the file from server yet again. Thereafter, provide the name of the exchange server and choose the corrupt file from offline location. Now, run isinteg command recursively till the exchange server gets free from errors. Finally, with the help of Exchange management console wizard mount the database on the server.
