Exe2Serv is an advanced system utility which allows you to run any application program executable as Windows service without the need to log in to a Windows session. You can start them on boot before the user logs on and control their execution remotely. Exe2Serv allows you to install any Windows executable, VBS, VB, BAT or JS script as a service. Windows services are background processes that do not interfere with the logged in user's environment. You can start them on system boot before the windows user logs on. By converting programs to services, you maintain full control over their execution, you do not allow a logged in user to interact with these programs, and you can run them in any security context regardless of the permissions granted to the currently logged user. It does not matter if a user is logged on to the system, a service is started at system startup and runs under the system account. Exe2Serv is the perfect tool for those who cannot create services themselves. Exe2Serv allows you to convert not only .exe files, but also .bat, .vbs (VBScript) and .js (JS scripts) files into services. Exe2Serv is a command line driven application. You can install and start services using XML configuration file. The applications launched as services will run under the Local System account. Exe2Serv will need .NET 2.0 runtime files in order to run. The trial version is fully functional but it will allow only 3 applications to be added.
