With FContactSync, you can make sure that every single contact on your phone will have a profile picture. How does it work? FContactSync retrieves profile pictures from Facebook and places them on your phone's contacts. FContactSync does not add new contacts on the device - it only adds pictures to existing contacts. FContactSync has two main sync options: 1. Automatic Sync Tab: - FContactSync will automatically seek the Facebook's friend name for each contact on the phone. - Once FContactSync finds the correct Facebook friend, it will retrieve the picture from Facebook and bring it to your phone. - If FContactSync cannot find a proper match to a contact, it will automatically move the name to "Manual Lists." Therefore, when the Automatic Sync finishes, it will open "Manual Lists," enabling you to personally match Facebook friends to the contacts that could not automatically sync. "Manual Lists" have two separate lists: - Contacts List - Contains the contacts the phone cannot properly match with Facebook. - Facebook List - Contains Facebook friends without links to phone contacts. The "Contacts List" will appear first, allowing you to choose a contact name. Once you choose a contact name, the "Facebook List" will appear, allowing you to choose the Facebook friend you want to match to that name. This procedure continues until you click the Finish button or until all of your contacts have found matches in Facebook. After pressing the Finish button, the phone will then start syncing progress according to your new links. The new links you manually inserted will be saved in the phone database so next the next sync will upload the information. 2. Manual Sync Tab: This tab allows you to manage all the links between your phone's contacts and your friends list in Facebook. The tab includes a table of your linked and non-linked contacts, enabling you manage it. This allows you doing the following: 1. Modify a Facebook friend link between your Facebook friend and the contact you choose manually. 2. Delete Link delete link between contact names from phone and Facebook friends, preventing the record from syncing according to manual link. All the information in the table is saved in the application Database. The above operations can be achieved by pressing long press on specific record Settings: There are two preferences: 1.Overwrite Existing Picture if enabled, each retrieved picture from Facebook will replace the existing contacts picture on the phone; otherwise, the sync will only copy the picture if the contact does not have one. 2.Incremental Sync (smart sync) if enabled, FContactSync will sync only new contacts added to phone since the last sync or contacts who have not yet been synced. Note: The free version of FContactSync,FContactSyncFree, enables the linkage of up to 10 contacts.
