Fiber Loss Calculator Calculates the total loss of a Fiber cable run in meter using the following formula: Total Loss = ((FWL * LOR) + (0.75*NCP) + (0.3*NOS)) FLW = Fiber Wavelength Loss/km LOR = Length of Cable (m) NCP = Number of Connector Pairs NOS = Number of Splices Reference Sheets are also included for CAT 5/6, Max Distance and Max Loss per Fiber Type for each of the Three Wavelengths
