Our Statistical Calculations Each team s historical results are analysed and each result is given a weighting based on the performance of that result and the opponent they faced. These results are compared and an overall win chance is calculated for each team factors also include past matches between the two side and each sides respective performances in their home and away games. For any given head to head match the expected number of goals is calculated by comparing a team s goal scoring threat against their opponent s defensive ability. We ve found that the best way to use the app is to pay attention to the detailed statistics but use them to inform your decisions rather than expecting the app to be correct 100% of the time.
