Custom emojis are sent as images, not text. While regular emojis are embedded into each platform, custom emojis only exist in the app they come with. As such, they must be sent as images.

When you enable the Goth Emoji keyboard, Android warns you that this lets the app track a lot of stuff. Goth Emoji does NOT track anything. It ONLY uses full access when saving emojis to your photo album. For more information on full access and data collection, please see our privacy policy.

We have fixed a problem that made some Android M devices unable to save emojis. We are sorry for taking so long. If you still have problems, let us know.,On Android M and later, the main application (not the keyboard) must now be used to give the app permission to save emojis. Open the main app and tap an emoji or the topmost access button. If this don't work on a previously installed app, try to reinstall.,We have made ui adjustments, like centering the alert text, adjusting the tutorial etc.
