Goupion is a web-based Enterprise Groupware and CRM platform for companies and project teams. The product philosophy of Groupion is based on the idea that the biggest potentials for synergy effects and raising efficiency exists in the contact areas of different functions and divisions. The collaboration between heterogeneous user groups like sales, services and administration is by far more complicated than in a homogeneous working group with similar needs. Groupion is a flexible, modular and customizable solution, combining all facets of an enterprise in one tool. A customers query, for example, can be registered in the call-center, executed by a service team, cleared by the administration and evaluated by the controlling division via Groupion. And this is only one of countless scenarios where comprehensive processes play an important role for a companys overall success. Currently Groupion offers four application packages, which contain email, task management, group calendar, file management as well as CRM and ERP functionality. The software is both available as an On-Demand version used via Internet, or as an In-House version installed on a local server. For this purpose, Groupion supports all modern server operating systems as well as four different databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL and Oracle). Regarding customization, Groupion is using the iXML standard, which enables users to adapt and extend Groupions functionality in every fashionable way. Groupion is offered as Software-as-a-Service with a monthly fee of 9.95 per user. Additionally, there are two free editions available: The Community Edition is intended for non-commercial institutions like public schools or associations and contains 50 free user licences. The Groupion Start-Up Edition is also available at no charge and comes with three free user licenses for all application modules and can also be used for commercial purposes.
