The kumo cloud app and web service works with the Mitsubishi Electric Wireless Adapter and Wireless Interface devices to enable wireless control of Mitsubishi Electric HVAC systems from a smart phone. Mitsubishi Electric HVAC System kumo cloud works with all new Mitsubishi indoor units and most others. A complete list can be found here: kumocloud.com/compatibility Wireless Router and Internet Access The app works with any wireless router that has a WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button if you are using the Wireless Adapter (PAC-WHS01WF-E). If you are using the Wireless Interface (PAC-USWHS002-WF-1), a WPS button is not required, and any wireless router using WPA2 Personal (AES) security is supported. Internet access or Bluetooth connection is required for set up. Adapters: Mitsubishi Electric Wireless Adapter (PAC-WHS01WF-E) or Wireless Interface (PAC-USWHS002-WF-1). You must install Wireless adapters or Wireless Interfaces on all indoor units within the same system. The adapters and interfaces are not designed for self installation. Please use a professional installer to complete the installation, to prevent risk of electric shock or personal injury. Smart Phone: The app is available for iPhone running iOS 8.1 and newer.
