This application was designed for songwriters and composers that need to get melody ideas quickly. Melody Machine will generate short melody clips that can be saved and reloaded at any time. There are a few predefined note syncopations that can be selected for the melody that is generated. You can change the number of notes in the pattern, and you can specify the maximum note to note interval. It is common for vocal melodies to not make many large interval changes in a sequence, so pinning the max interval to a 3rd or 4th gives really excellent and original melodies. The tempo can be adjusted on the fly, and note syncopation patterns can be tapped out and applied to the generated melody. This is a great tool for serious composers and songwriters.
