Twain Importer is a virtual TWAIN driver allowing use any TWAIN compliant application with Network scanners and MFP devices. Follow various MFPs architectures and capabilities Twain Importer provides flexible integration functionality that allows to connect MFPs from almost any manufacturer to any TWAIN compliant application. Since version 3.0 Twain Importer has natural support for Xerox MFPs. This provides great user experience and makes using Xerox MFP as a regular scanner. With Xerox devices users can create scan jobs directly from an application user interface and receive images into this application with one-button click. Twain importer supports two modes for Xerox MFP: Active Mode and Passive mode. Both modes have functionality automatically stop scanning when the last document imported from MFP. But Active Mode also allows making all configurations from users application and uploads profile automatically. In passive mode user has to make configuration from MFPs administration user interface or from MFP directly or administrator can setup predefined profile (proffered). In sections below detailed instructions for different modes will be provided. MFP Twain importer supports any Xerox MFP device that has ability to scan to FTP. Or any Network scanner/other vendor MFP that has ability to scan to FTP. Exclusive property copyrights to the Software and the documentation in a printed and/or electronic kind belong to the Legal owner. Software installation and using it means your unconditional consent with conditions of this agreement. If you disagree with conditions of this agreement, you should stop Software installation and using. 1. You have the right to use the Software according to conditions of this License agreement. Software can be installed on a single computer. Action of a key is distributed only to that computer where the Software is installed. 2. User may use unregistered copy of the Software during evaluation period with any functional restrictions. 3. User may use free registered copy of the Software for unlimited time with any functional restrictions. 4. After registration of full version of software the above mentioned restrictions will be removed. 5. User has the right to make a copy of the Software if this copy is not intended for distribution together with the registration key received. 6. User has the right to freely distribute the unregistered version of the Software in any lawful ways and in any quantity. 7. User have the right to sell a copy of the Software available at you together with a registration key to the person, that concordant with conditions of this agreement, thus you cease to be the lawful owner of a copy of the Software, and, all rest at you are obliged to destroy copies of the Software, including archival. 8. It is forbidden to decompiling and/or updating the Software. 9. It is forbidden to hand over the Software together with your registration key in rent, in hire or in time using. 10. The legal owner and/or its partners do not suffer the responsibility for any damage from using or impossibility of using of the Software. The infringer suffers the responsibility for infringement of copyrights to the Software according to the legislation.
