Netdisco is an open source, web based network administration tool, aimed primarily for administrators handling large networks such as universities and large corporations in need or a high volume of labeling and cataloging. Additional features: - Uses Postgres database and SNMP for MAC and IP - Find details on the fly by mac and ip for a certain computer on the network. - turn off a port with details of why it was done - model, vendor, switch-card, firmware and operating system inventory - detailed reports on activity.
