The objective of Odisha Public Grievance app is to provide an online grievance redress and monitoring mechanism across the State including the CM’s Office. It has two parts:

1) Chief Minister’s Grievance Redressal and Monitoring Mechanism. Hon’ble Chief Minister receives grievances on all working Mondays and through post. Petitions received thru post, person and online system are directly monitored by CM’s Office through this portal and are forwarded online to the concerned authorities i.e. Secretaries, Directors, Collectors or directly to BDOs, Tahasildars etc. These forwarded grievance petitions are received online by the concerned offices and are reflected automatically to the higher officers in the hierarchy and monitored regularly. All action taken is finally reported to CM’s Office.

2) Chief Secretary, Department Secretaries, Directors and District Collectors Grievance Redressal and Monitoring Mechanism Chief Secretary, Secretaries and Collectors also receive grievances directly from citizens. These grievance petitions are forwarded to concerned offices and monitored accordingly.

Note: Entire process is a steps towards popularizing mGovernance Initiative.
