Modern MATLAB-based modelling software for 13C metabolic flux analysis (MFA). OpenFLUX, among others, is a specialized program for research. Since every research is a little bit different, the main draw to use OpenFLUX is the ability to customize the optimization. The optimization itself becomes an experiment and the support for this is largely absent and beyond what can be published.
