Ordner is a UNICODE program that helps you to keep your pictures in order. All information about the pictures is written into an XML file that is always kept together with the pictures. You can assign your own comment and any number of categories to each picture. Using multiple hierarhical category trees, it is easy to keep track of when and where the picture was shot and who is on the picture, to create thematical albums, to mark your favourites, etc. Advanced filtering capabilities allow you to find pictures matching specified categories. A powerful export function allows you to export the template based HTML albums or just backup copies of pictures with corresponding data, along with Ordner itself and its database, onto an autorun CD. It can also be used to prepare data for printing, to resize pictures, to strip meta-information, etc. Slideshow and multi-rename tool are available. Editing capabilities are restricted to lossless JPEG transformations.
