Use your Android smartphone as a full-featured SMS Gateway with Ozeki HTTP SMS Gateway. It can be used to connect your application to the mobile network to send and receive SMS messages without using any GSM modems.

HTTP SMS Gateway can be connected to an applications, such as Ozeki NG SMS Gateway(http://www.ozekisms.com), using HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP).

Using this app, you can easily send SMSs with an HTTP request that transmits your messages to themobile network. For instance:http://{ip address of your phone}:9800/sendsms?password=abc123&recipient=06203105366&messagedata=Hello+World.After configuring an HTTP address, Android HTTP SMS Gateway is able to receive incoming SMS messages as well.

Ozeki HTTP SMS Gateway supports standard, unicode and multipart SMS messages. It also handles SMSdelivery reports by sending them to a predefined HTTP URL.
