This widget enables you to monitor datastreams from realtime Pachube feeds on your Android device. Pachube's global community is contributing millions of datapoints per day from energy monitors, weather stations, air quality sensors and a whole lot more sensor devices.

Pachube is a data brokerage platform for the internet of things, managing sensors and actuators owned and created by thousands of individuals, organisations & companies around the world. Pachube's powerful and scalable infrastructure enables you to build 'Internet of Things' products and services, and store, share & discover realtime sensor, energy and environment data from objects, devices & buildings around the world.

To use the official Pachube Widget you will need a Pachube account (signup for free here: http://www.pachube.com/signup), but you can monitor any public datastream using this widget. When you set up the widget it also enables you to choose how frequently to update the data.

The code in this widget builds upon an early beta version created by fasteque - thanks for your contribution! - and is now available for public use under a modified BSD license here: https://github.com/uh/Pachube-Android-Widget in case you want to build new products on top of it.
