If you updated your Windows from older versions to Windows 10, you might be able to use Windows Photo Viewer already. However, this is not possible on a clean Windows 10 installation. Windows Photo Viewer can be used with Bitmap, JFIF, Jpeg, Gif, Png and Wdp files.
