Quick Objects - Time Zones library is a very powerful library that provides date time conversion between various time zones across the world. The day light savings rules are automatically applied by the library whenever a date time value falls in the DST observance time period. There are no cumboresome calculations that need to be done, one method call and you get the correct value. There is no other component that provides such accuracy of time difference calculations as ours! Time zone calculations in windows operating system and the .NET Framework does not provide any means at all for a .NET developer to calculate time zone difference or even provide access to the windows time zone rules and data. QuickObjects TimeZones libraries provides a quick, easy and flexible solution to all of these problems. The data for all time zones including their appropriate DST rules are included in the library itself (only 10 are available in trial version). The library also provides methods that allow the developer to get time in any given time zone when UTC time zone is available or when UTC time from any local time. These calculation automatically apply the correct DST rules appropriate for the time being converted. Time Zones library also can be integrated with Quick Objects Business Logic Framework to provides date time values in user''s time zone automatically without any extra effort or coding on the developer''s part. With just one configuration setting or modifying a property value can have these two libraries working together. In addition to these capabilities, the Time Zones library also includes a large number of very useful date time calculation functions that can be very useful in any application. Best of all, we have already included the latest time zones and their rules data so you don''t have to worry about keeping up with the changing rules of the various time zones. Samples are included in C# and VB.NET but any .NET language can use the Time Zones library.
