Help the boy escape from his school by exploring classrooms and using items.The simple little parody adventure game that would grow to be one of my most recognized creations, with over a million hits on New grounds. Your goal is to solve basic puzzles to escape school, like any student would probably do if that didn't have serious consequences.A lot of the thought process behind this game and the rest of the series are explained in the unlockable Special Features of Riddle School and Riddle Transfer, but a small portion of that information will appear in these descriptions as well.I've always been a fan of the point-and-click genre because it's composed of games that require real thought and observation to play, and they're not the kinds of games you can create with a level editor, so there's more potential for variety. Riddle School was going to be based on Pico's School (a point-and-click game which doesn't really have any puzzles, but it had more personality than any adventure games I'd played up to that point) and Madness (which is why there's Madness music and a number of objects in the first couple of rooms are black and white.) This changed when I decided that I didn't want to make a violent game, and so it took a 180 from a potentially controversial game where your first obtainable item was a gun, to a relatively silly game that reflected my general opinions of school in a sarcastic manner.Keywords : Adventure, Point & Click , adventure, brain game, school , classroom
