SDCC or Small Device C Compiler is an ANSI - C compiler for the Intel 8051, Zilog Z80, Dallas 80C390, Motorola HC08 and Microchip PIC MCUs, with pending support for the Microchip PIC16 and PIC18 series. Additional features include: - MCU specific optimizations and language extensions - Global register allocator - MCU adaptable backend - Complete data type range: char (8 bits, 1 byte), short (16 bits, 2 bytes), int (16 bits, 2 bytes), long (32 bit, 4 bytes) and float (4 byte IEEE). - Automated regression tests and more.
