The cardbox principle is the best solution for learning language vocabulary. And that is how it works: The vocabulary are keyed in a virtual box with five faultclasses 0 to 3 and final. With each correct answer to a translated vokabulary the vocable increases its faultclass until it is finally in the upmost faultclass. If at any stage the answer was wrong, the vocable switches back to faultclass 0. Thus it is guaranteed that if the vocable is after some trials in the final faultclass, this vocable is known for sure. The SmartTrainer is built in such a way, that pupils cannot cheat themselves. Some failings, due to incorrect punctuation mark or double spaces are neutral to the result. Even upper case and lower case can be disabled. To give some hinte for the learner, comments can be given in brackets. Up to three solutions in home- and foreign language is possible. The vocable can be checkmarked as important or unimportant. Due to this, selection for the learner can be made in addition to a lot of different selection mechanism. Protocols can be encapsulated by password. Statistics for the learner, including a school grade is given. The SmartTrainer is for home use and for classes at school, using networked computers. The SmartTrainer is now prooved about more than 10 years and is upgraded with the help of foreign language teachers to a standard today.
