Tunnel communication through a SOCKS proxy. With SSH and PPP, this provides a more efficient VPN than using httptunnel, as that can tunnel network connections through restrictive HTTP proxies over pure HTTP "GET" and "POST" requests. SocksTunnel VPN can also be used for running applications such as SETI@Home through SOCKS.
