Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme is one of the most popular government schemes launched by the Indian Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi.
SSA account is to ensure a bright future for girl children in India & also encourages the Girl Parent to build a fund for the Marriage expenses.
The scheme was launched on 22 January 2015 as a part of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign.
The scheme currently provides an interest rate of 8.6% (for FY 2016-17) and tax benefits.
The account can be opened at any India Post office or a branch of some authorized commercial banks.

In this APP you need to just fill the input field of Deposit Amount & frequency.
Then you can view in the bottom of the page Maturity Date, Maturity Amount, Total Deposit & Total Interest.
Eligibility
3 eligibility criteria have been specified for this scheme :
* Gender of Child : Under this scheme account can only be opened for Girl child.* Age of Child : Last date for a girl child to open account under this scheme will be her 10th birthday.* Citizenship of the Girl Child : Account can only be opened for girl child who hold Indian citizenship.
