Status is a Twitter ESK application for Oracle WebCenter Portal. This demonstrates one way to extended your view into Oracle WebCenter Portal and gain all the potential of Web 2.0 from your portal. This application uses the published REST api's for Oracle WebCenter Portal. This application is a BETA use at your own risk! But I will always be tweaking it but is more to show case the REST API. I have tested this application on Release 11g R1 (11.1.1.6.0) and Release 11g R1 (11.1.1.5.0)
I hope this application can give you some added business value the Notifier is what i think is worth it.
Features:* Obtains Activity updates for your id.* Obtains Activity updates for joined Spaces.* Obtains Activity updates for your Stream.* Notifier that will place a Notify Message in your Bar when your Activity Stream has a new message. "Set it and Forget it" :-)* Comment and Like on certain Activity Messages.(Very limited current API does not allow for comment on basic post's but the Web Interface allows)
I plan on working on a work around if possible to allow comments at least on all Posts. I tested out the iPhone version from Oracle and it too does not allow comments and likes on these Activities :-(
