StrongDC++ is a Direct Connect client application developed and published by BigMuscle under the GNU/GPL license. This means that any user downloading the application or its sources can modify it for any needs. StrongDC++ has been designed to share a legal material only so the program developer is not responsible for any activities for which the users deploy this software. The main benefits of StrongDC++ are: 1. Safe segmented downloading: any file can be downloaded from more than one user at the same time without the risk of corruption. 2. Partial file sharing: allows downloading and uploading file parts that are also downloaded by other users which increases download speed and file expanding over network 3. Download/Upload speed limiter: allows a full line usage and also leaves some speed for web browsing. 4. Automatic slow download disconnecting: if download speed during segmented downloading goes too low, the source is disconnected regardless the set value to avoid unnecessary slot usage 5. Customization: the user can set sounds according to situation, change color scheme or icons, show popup balloons, see emoticons and many more.
